Undercoating thoughts?

I bought a new 2021 Gladiator Sport a couple of weeks ago, and am taking it into a Ziebart dealer to have a Rhino Liner sprayed onto the bed of my truck this week.

The owner of the shop is trying to sell me under coating, telling me that Jeeps are notorious for rust problems. What are your opinions on Ziebart rust proofing on Jeeps, do y’all think this is a good idea?

Probably a waste of $$ , but I had it done when the dealer did the bed liner and 3M protective film

I like LPS 3, 6 months to a year, then reapply. I look around the undercarriage once in a while anyway just to check things, take a can of LPS 3 with you when you dive in. I don't like traditional undercoating because I don't know what is going on behind it, unfounded but I prefer other rust inhibitors. There are lots of other rust inhibitors available but I stay with LPS 3 because I'm familiar with it. It works but needs constant reapplication/upkeep. It's a reoccurring cost I just accept as part of regular maintenance.

I have 40 years in the auto body business. DON'T waste your money on Ziebart undercoating!
It can be worst the no undercoating at all.
I undercoated mine with Woolwax and Fluid Film.
I took my time and got in every seam, hole, nook and cranny.
