I didn't find much in the search on this. 2020 Overland has had the doors off for the last 6 weeks. Put everything back on for the ride to Jeep Invasion and both rear windows don't work with either set of switches front or rear. The front windows work fine. I did find the windows are on a circuit breaker but they share the same circuit as far as I can tell. I pulled and reseated the breaker but obviously for no reason since the front windows are working. Is there any other reason I wouldn't be getting power to the rear connectors? The only thing that has changed in the past 6 weeks weeks is a new main battery and the aux delete.

I had a similar issue recently and found that something obstructing/pressing the back buttons would do that (if only trying the front switches for back window operation). Meaning, I thought something was wrong in the way you have described...but when I cleared the obstruction that was interfering with the buttons, the issue was resolved. In my case something was keeping the buttons pressed "down". While that condition was true, I could not operate the rear windows from the front switch. The windows appeared stuck in the down position.

Since you tried both front and rear switches, that is not your issue. Still, it might be a clue -- meaning a fouled up rear switch could be at play (low confidence). I figured I'd share that since I went through a similar process before figuring out gear in the back can produce this condition. Good luck!

Recheck the plugs. You could not have them fully seated or may have bent a pun in the connector or have a pin or two pushed back into the connectors.

Thanks. Yeah I've done that 3 times. The rear plugs are so much more user friendly than the front ones. Anything is possible but those rear connector housings are nearly fully engaged and lined up before the pins engage. Both windows at the same time points to some circuitry issue. When I get home from Jeep Invasion I will install the doors on my other JT to see if it's a window problem or truck circuit issue. I appreciate the response though.

Just a follow up to update the outcome. I pulled the circuit breaker and cleaned the prongs then reseated it in the PDC. I also inspected the connectors for bent pins. There were none. I reinstalled the doors, (had them off for Jeep Invasion) and both rear windows were working again. This makes no sense to me since the circuit breaker powers both front and rear and the fronts were working fine. Anyway all 4 windows are functioning correctly and I don't have a solid answer as to why but it's all good now. Thanks for the responses to try to help figure it out. @Moe-Jave @cranbiz

@JTenn I'm glad you're up and running again! I understand the frustration with an issue like that and have been there myself in other areas. :/ I hope Jeep Invasion was fun!

Edit: Consider some electrically conductive grease next time you are in there. I've seen similar tight fittings benefit from it...

That's a great idea, thanks. I will definitely get some.
