To those who have upgraded their radio to the 8.4", I understand that USB 2 in the center console stops working for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, but does USB 3 on the back of the center console still work for Android Auto/CarPlay?
I know not everyone has the USB ports in the back seat, just wondering if anyone out there has the rear USB ports and has upgraded to the 8.4" radio.
I've got the 7" radio, and the rear USB ports, and would like to purchase and install the 8.4" radio. I'm wondering if the fix for USB 2 could be as simple as swapping the cables with USB 3 inside the center console.
