Uwharrie Forest — Doors off?

I’m staying in Biscoe for a few days next week so I can explore the Unharrie National Forest. I’ll run the BoH trail and anything else I can with a rack and a RTT out back.

Quick question for folks in the know: If the weather is good, can I leave the doors at the hotel?

No better way to see a place than door off and roof open, but I’ve been in some tight trails that would whip you silly with brush if you were open on the sides.

It will not be an issue on the trails, most are not tight. The issue I would have is every time I've driven Uwharrie, regardless of weather forecast, its rained. Have fun. Perfect time of the year for it.

Ended up doors on, and had an amazing day. Did every trail but Daniel and Dutch John, since I was solo. Almost no one there on a Tuesday in October except for a few ATVs.

I envy everyone who has this place in their backyard.

If you did Dickey Bell, Dutch John would have been a breeze.

I was up there last weekend (with my JK), ran doors off, It was a great weekend.
