V8 on search inventory option Easter Egg?

I am sure this was an error while I use the Search New Inventory Jeep page or maybe an Easter Egg into the future offering . Of course there are none with that option available.

While I’d be thrilled if it were true, I unfortunately suspect this was a result of a coding error since we don’t see an option for the existing alternate 3.0 diesel. Sadly, I suspect it would be all to easy for the person coding this page to have typed in the wrong engine code value in their available pick list and their error was missed in testing. However, I certainly hope that my guess is wrong and a v8 drops in these trucks.

Don't count on the V8.
Pages like this are based on templates - someone simply goofed. It's not a tease, not an easter egg, it's one of the many mistakes that get made on these things.
For a while they had the wrong tires on the wrong versions of the Gladiator. They had Rubicon with highway tires.

The way EPA regs are going - and the way states are going - the V8 is going to be dying, not expanding, it's base. The concentration will be in directions that can meet the new EU mandates as well as those in a couple of U.S. states. they won't worsen their standing with all of the engineering and certifications required for sticking a V8 in these. (besides the market for it wouldn't make it pay the costs of doing so - very small market)
