Checking back in here. Any updates from owners of these toppers? It’s confounding to me that this seems to be the best fiberglass topper, but the company has terrible marketing and there’s still barely any real world reviews.
I love the cap, but trying to get info is tough. I have the rack tracks installed but need towers and rails and can't get an answer on which ones are compatible

For what it’s worth, the installer near me uses rhino rack stuff and options it as an accessory when you order one of these.

What reach rails and towers are you using?
Yakima or any other system that uses rails permanently on roof and removeable cross bars that lock on are great. I have Yakima rails and removable round bars, two sets one with my awning on it and a bare bar set with boat loaders on it to load kayaks ,most of the time my cap is bare with covers installed on mounts……Jack

I totally agree that their marketing is next to nothing and in dire need of some real world exposure! I’m not sure if they’re hoping their super repetitive social media posts will be sufficient or if they’re thinking existing owners will do the work for them.
I’ve had the cap installed now for almost two years and other than the issue with it making contact with the cab (I still think I got a cap for a Tacoma), it’s been great!
I went as far as to reach out to their marketing director as I was willing to make a video review of the top but all I got was crickets.

I've had it a little over 18 months now. I'm really happy with it. No color fade (I park outside) and no other issues at all. Love the side opening windows. I installed some sticky tape led lights down the center of the inside roof that plug into the USB port. They're still hanging in there after a year plus.

I saw that there’s some sort of power box in the left corner. What’s in there, and how did you connect it to your truck?

I've had zero issues with it - although the matte black finish (which matches the JT hard top pretty dang close) scratches easily - as I noticed I had scratch marks on it from backing up too close to some overhanging tree branches in an access driveway that I park at where I hunt.

I'm not going to worry about it but I was surprised a few branches could do that.....

It's got a regular USB and a USB-C connection. It came with the installation.

My advice is buy from a dealer that will support you because you cannot contact the manufacture. My guess is these toppers are not their main gig. I didn't get any paperwork with mine, but I did go online found some information on it. That said, I'm well satisfied with mine, no complaints.

I ended up placing an order yesterday for mine actually. My local-ish dealer seems pretty good and showed me one they had on hand waiting for customer pickup.

What kind of info were you looking for that it didn’t come with, and are you satisfied with the way you optioned yours? I went for windoors, folding slide front window, textured matte paint, light gray interior, and rhino tracks. Only thing I waffled on was the carpet headliner or not. The dealer said that the headliner is nearly permanent and is installed before the windows

I put the rack rails on top. Same windoors and front window as yours. Did not do anything else. I removed the badges on each side. When I did, the paint came with it. When I got online and read up on them, I learned they made these to order and the paint needs to cure for 90 days or you could mess it up doing what I did. Mine was less than a month old when I messed it up.

Ah good to know about the paint, sorry you learned that from experience.

What interior color did you go with?

Also the interior lighting options are expensive for how basic they are. I decided I’m going to take my chances with an Amazon RBG under-glow LED kit but stick it to the roof instead ha

I left the inside natural, its kind of light in color. I didn't put any lights in it. I figured battery powered L.E.D. lights would work if I decide I need them.

Yesterday I picked up my Venturous from the dealer. Install was super smooth (this dealer is excellent).

I had my expectations set accordingly for the fit and finish. Exterior paint is excellent. However, you can tell the windows are custom assembled and the interior mold edges are a little rough. I knew this is how it would look since I checked it out in person before ordering. Purely aesthetic.

I got the following options:
  1. Textured matte black paint (matches the hard top very well)
  2. Fold down front slider window (makes it easy to clean between cap and cab)
  3. Vented slider windoors on both sides
  4. Light gray interior
  5. Rhino rack tracks

Next up:
  1. Install 12V LED lighting. I'm going to try out this RGB underglow kit I found on Amazon. 2x 60" self-adhesive strips + 2x 36" strips all already wired up with a remote. The topper came with some extra pigtails to attach to the power distribution block in the back right corner which should make it easy to wire up.
  2. Figure out what rack I want on top. I have the Rhino Rack rails installed which should accept any feet for crossbars or a platform. Crossbars are lighter and easier to attach a RTT, a platform is more useful overall.
