Virus alert

Anybody else getting a virus alert from Mcafee while viewing the site? I have run a couple scans and nothing is showing up.

Unless it's coming from the actual McAfee app it's probably a scam.

I do not run McAfee and just use the Windows Defender but had a weird issue a couple of days ago visiting here and a simulated pop up took over the page claiming I was infected. Recovered out of it and then the ads on the page were about getting Mcafee.

Ran a scan also with nothing showing up.

Yep, this is what mine was.

Ran a scan and nothing.

Went through and deleted any all pages in my history that contained anything Mcafee. Also removed Mcafee from my programs as I have another Antivirus that I run.

yeah, I'm getting it. about every other 5 pages it takes me to a new site for McAfee.

I cleared everything out in my browsing history and so far it has not reappeared.
