Thanks for all the help. I've learned so much in the past few days. I'm positive I can save thousands and still get the vehicle that is just right for me. Unfortunately, I received an email from Your Auto Advocate that read "Why Now is the Worst Tim in History to buy a New Car." I'm going to stop looking before I get my heart set on something and do something stupid.

But, I'll be back. Great group of people.

Don’t let that email get you down. I just purchased TWO brand new vehicles this month - something I’ve never done before - because the deals were too good to postpone. Dealers are fast approaching the end of the model year, and while there is a chip shortage, they also don’t want to hold onto last years MY when the 2022s hit.

Find a dealer that’s over stocked. You may have to drive, but they’re out there.

Good luck!!!

Travel trailer/camper yeah, but not a car hauler. No one I know uses a weight distributing hitch for a car hauler. Just not needed. For aluminum trailers it's a no-no. Never use a WDH on an all-aluminum car hauler.
I can't say I've ever seen an open car hauler with a WDH setup. Enclosed maybe.
No WDH on this - and when I bought this trailer years ago (have since traded it for an Aluma tilt-bed) the guy told me he had never sold a car hauler with a WDH.

Most of the time you don't need a WDH on a car hauler because you can simply adjust the weight distribution by moving the car backwards or forwards. I have nearly max towed with a car hauler and my JT Overland many times and had no issues.

If sway bar disconnects are desired, all it takes is about $200 and an hour of work

I know people with Rubicons that are going to replace their electric system with manual disconnects so it doesn't reconnect above 25mph

Rubicon perhapst not necessary.
But I would highly reccommend the ecodiesel. It is absolutely phantastic.
My Mileage has come to 26 mpg what i consider excellent for a car which is less aerodynamic than a cow.....

True that - but my guess, and it's ONLY a guess, is that it wasn't part of his equation, likely didn't note that difference. Could be wrong of course or maybe I'm wrong about that.
DONOT EVER! say you are wrong, unless your wife says so......
