Lots of warranty options offered by my Jeep Dealer, not just the "7 additional years extended warranty" that often gets discussed here. I haven't seen these on the forum yet, so I thought I'd list the options here.
Jeep (non-dealer-specific) warranty options from my dealer (and their costs):
$2774 - Extended Warranty
$499 - PermaPlate Windshield Protection
$537 - Road Hazard Tire & Wheel
$899 - Total Loss Protection
$799 - PermaPlate Appearance Protection
$289 - SecureEtch
$664 - Paintless Dent Repair
That's it. Just putting this here to help others be prepared for the options your Jeep Dealer's finance guy will throw at you before you sign the paperwork. I'm leaning towards the Windshield Protection. I debated the tire protection, but I really don't know that I'll get 2 flats. Mind you, if I get 4 in the first 5 years I'll be cursing it if I don't.

You can find this cheaper elsewhere, look on the forums! It extends your warranty from 3 years to 10 (you can buy this elsewhere anytime during the first 3 years)
Up to $5000 worth of windshield repairs or replacements during the first 5 years, any crack repaired or replaced. Can choose to replace with OEM windshield or save money and use aftermarket windshields so that the $5000 goes further. Since I have the big black box on my windshield, I think this one might be worth it.
Repairs road damage up to $40 worth of repairs. Over $40, and it replaces the tire and/or the wheel. Any tire, any wheel, during the first 5 years. However, if the damage occurs off-road you'll have to lie and claim a boulder rolled into the highway if you want coverage (and make up a REALLY good story if the tear is on the inside sidewall!!). Problem is, that's more than the cost of 1 tire replacement, meaning I'd need 2 blowouts to occur in the first 5 years to make this be worth it to me. This is the only one I'm on the fence about
Something about helping pay off your loan beyond your insurance payouts if the vehicle is totaled while you still owe money on it. They claim they recommend it for people who still owe >80% of the Jeep's value
Clean or replace interior after damage or stains occur during the first 5 years. This includes mud stains, sun damage, and all the stuff you're kids throw in the car
Etch a tiny code (that then gets registered with the cops) in the corner of your windshield and give you something like $2500 if your car is stolen during the first 5 years. It feels like etching a code and registering it with the cops should come standard, but whatever
Repair and repaint any damage to the exterior (including cosmetic wheel repair, interior dent repair, headlight refinishing, windshield repair, and ding/dent repair) of dents and dings that are smaller than a credit card. They list "windshield repair" in this, so I'm not sure if you would still need the PermaPlate replacement program as well.
