Weird noise turning steering wheel at idle is this normal?

So I just noticed this noise today while waiting on my gf to come out of the store. Truck parked running barely touch wheel and makes funny noise. Found a sound clip someone posted online. Mine sounds exactly like it.

mine does the same too but its very faint,id say its just the electric steering pump doing its job,but if the sound gets worse id for sure take it to the dealer and get it checked out :D

I could not hear the noise with the attachment provided however it should be related to the power steering pump or belts. I would certainly take it by the dealer for evaluation.

That just started happening on my JT but it happens when making a left hand turn and it’s quite a bit louder.

Kinda like a squeegee sound? Yep mine does it when it’s cold but stops once it get warmed up. I think it’s the electric power steering pump. My bigger tires made it more obvious then the stock wheel tire combo.

I was finally able to get video of what mine sounds like after a long road trip last week.
The sound never happens driving around town but this is the second long road trip it has popped up on.

+1 my max tow did it from day 2. intalled mopar 2" at 500 miles, currently at 3600 miles. tie rod is loose too.

My noise at idle went away with when the steering box was replaced under warranty.

Well the dealer says
The front axle disconnect actuator wasn’t working and they are thinking that’s what was making the noise.
Seems weird..I get the actuator not working was the cause of the 4wd not working but to be the cause of the noise I’m not sure..
