it must a new "old saying" because it is new to me and I am pushing 50 years old. But the thought behind it is sound since we all know short wheelbase is squirrelly on the highway and while towing.
while true, the JT should be far less squirelly than the JL on the highway and towing....But to make the brakeover angle worse for a better departure angle while losing the spare, ect, would be foolish.

You move something 2", everything else must move. I'm sure they maximized all their variables. This isn't a YUGO we're talking about.

I simply can’t understand how the phrase “6 of one, half dozen of another” is anything but a common enough colloquialism that everyone here hasn’t heard it regularly for decades. I mean it’s right there with “a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush”...is it maybe a regional thing? Or racial?
