So are they for the roll bar or to hang the hooks with. I'm thinking roll bar since they're curved on the ends a little. Thanks man!

Instructions say they are for the roll bars in your truck to keep you from scratching your pretty roll bar paint.
Well - I'm inferring the last part but that's what I'm gathering.
