I liked the Harbor Freight road shock edge 6 led lights so much decided to add their 4 led lights . Special thanks to @WILDHOBO for giving me the knowledge of how to make my own wiring harnesses.

How did you wire them up? Aux switches? Looks awesome! This is the direction I'm going to go. I have some Auxbeams on the cowling, but I think I'll move to the 4" road shocks with the same setup you are running.

Yes, I made my own harness and wired them into my Voswitch.

Dee Zee cross bars came in. Just waiting for my TTT (tonneau top tent) to come in now! These things are pretty stout; solid aluminum towers and the Dee Zee hex rails are awesome.. I also have the Dee Zee hex rail roof rack on my JL. Big fan of them. This setup leaves me plenty of room to install the tent and stay under cab height - hopefully yielding a little longer range between fill-ups.

I love the amber for night driving. It decreases eye fatigue for me big time. I have amber covers for my KC’s, but just ordered combo spot/flood lenses in amber. I think I’ll like them in amber permanently. But they’re not expensive, so it was worth it to me to try them out. I think I’d only want white for off-roading at night.

Only if you tell us what it means 🫡
It’s pretty simple (us grunts are simple people after all). Purple Heart Disabled Vet plates that I personalized. Purple Heart is awarded to those who have been wounded (or killed) in combat. So my plates are just saying Owww! The DV is there because Texas requires it for Disabled Vet plates.

Edit: just looked at your profile and realized I definitely didn’t need to explain it to you 🤣.

Dropped mine off at the dealer for warranty work:

1) right rear axle seal (leaking)
2) passenger side valve cover (leaking)
3) CEL - PO420 (on and off again for the last 2 weeks)
4) Low coolant - no visible leaks
5) Low PS fluid - again, no visible leaks

So lets see how long and drawn out this process becomes

Are you sure it’s the valve cover seal, and not the seal for the oil control solenoid? It’s super easy to change out. Both of mine were leaking, and

It could very well be the oil control solenoid seals that are leaking. On front end of both valve covers. Super easy to change out. I’d be surprised if the valve cover seals are leaking.

I’ve seen my coolant level vary widely. No leaks found. Meaning it varies by 3/4” in either direction. I personally think altitude, temperature, etc. push a small amount up through a the cap seal. I’ve seen a tiny amount of pink residue on the hood liner. I added a couple ounces one time in 60k miles. It never lowers past the minimum, and never gets over hot.

What’s P0420?

the axle seals are a pain. I thought one of my fronts was leaking, but it wasn’t. I bought the tools to put a new one in for under $50. At least for passenger front

Can you please post a link to the crossbars and mounts you bought? Do they have taller mounts? I’m on their website but not finding it.

I don't think they have taller ones though. If the height works for you, they're the nicest towers I've seen for crossbars... and IMO the hex rails are more beefy than typical crossbars as well.

little bit of a bad camera position, the towers are right at 3.25"
