Lol. Half of the reason the girlfriend was in it is because of the stupid auto park feature. It kept putting itself in park. I defeated it going through the passenger door and caught myself and had her hop in.
Ahhh safety. Darwin rules should always apply.

You didn't hear it from me, but I believe buckling the seatbelt will stop that.

Installed the Mopar 2” lift over two days in my driveway. I went with the diesel version for the heavier spring rate since I’ll be loaded down more times than not.

Everything went smooth until the rear. When pushing the spring up onto the perch, my finger somehow got pinched between the spring and the perch. I could not get it out and the pain was excruciating. After releasing there was no one to help me I took what strength I had left and pushed the spring up as hard as I could to get my finger out. Even if I had my phone right next to me I don’t think I could’ve called anyone, had I let go of the of the spring with my other hand the downward pressure onto my finger would’ve made me faint. I guess this is the risk I took doing this job completely by myself.

I’ll take better pictures soon, when I’m not completely exhausted! Haha

Like me “walking”’my empty & running JT towards a palm tree in the cul-de-sac. Always a conversation starter.
People do seem to find that strange. Their loss.

Vehicle or live setting. I’m assuming live. Mine is in the glove compartment.

Just close your eyes and use The Force (BRUTE) to stick it!

I have one on my 3/4 suburban ... but it requires on hook and hook up, and I really only need that when i'm really fine tuning a camper.
But I can mirror park pretty much anything and if I'm coming in after a trip and its late i don't want to be messing around with hitch and un hitch back it in and be done. TBH I hate the camera even for daily use

2024 12.9" screen is dimmable and I ignore the beeping like I ignore my wife's incessant reminder that money doesn't grow on trees. LIES!!!!! Also, the rear camera will zoom into the ball which makes me look pro level when I'm solo hooking up.

I was more referring to having to get out when backing.
I pull my trailer down to my shop approach, switch the truck around and hook up to the front. I can then watch my trailer and see exactly where it is going. It's a lot easier to maneuver. No watching mirrors, no looking at a screen. You just drive.
The screen never bothered me because my trailer is a flat bed car hauler.

For getting mine perfectly tucked into the back of the garage an inch from the wall, I finally splurged on a robot. I love it for moving trailers around in tight spots. But I’m with you. If it’s late and dark, I just pull in forward and deal with it the following day.
