Yeah. This one's an 07 and it's super easy to swap the battery.
This thing owes me nothing. It's my golf cart, my tractor, my log skidder, and my zero turn stuck in the mud recovery vehicle.
And my hunting rig sometimes.
The headlights are spray foamed in place and I'm on my fourth winch line.
Yeah my old 4wheeler is or was the same. It's 08 Sportsman 300. It's on it's second winch, second set of tires. But cranky and jealous that I bought a new one last year... a little bigger. ;) I decided to get a milder tread tires for it though.

Now back on the thread, yesterday "last night" I was checking or "deciding on" installing the Rubicon locker I have in front axle or in rear. I have to find out if the front is same as rear. I still want to have a fresh set of bearings before I start it. It looks to be a P.T.A drilling hole for factory connector and retaining bolt hole plus threading it, without removing it. Damned, if I don't miss having a garage, shop and paved driveway at times. But not the property taxes.:like:
BTW: The bottom one is what I'll try to be driving if running through much water. It kinda floats in all the water I've had it in so far and not as stressful not worrying about primary transportation. The Gladiator is at good towing it.

Does this also help protect from rock chips/cracks in the windshield?
No, it is applied on the inside.
I have heard of the exterior film to prevent chips and cracks but yet to see it. If anyone has ever been to Corpus Christi, TX they will soon find out it is the rock chip capitol of the state. In this city you will be hard pressed to find any vehicle "without" a cracked/chipped windshield. Only place I have ever visited where you can find pop-up tents lining the roadside specializing in windshield repair.

Ordered a set of large cowl light pod brackets from Rock Slide Engineering.

Super high-quality and very impressed. They come in all black in three different pieces, so I took the steel mesh part scuffed it good used an etching primer than three good coats of real orange paint from rust-oleum..

Lights are temporary until I figure out which pod lights actually want to use.

Installed the mopar spare tire lock. Simple and effective enough to make it harder than easy.

Not quite today, but over the last few days, built a rear seat delete storage platform
Finished for now, bedliner coating will happen, when we have tested the setup properly.

Top notch work. It’s a shame to cover the nice woodwork up. :)

Looks great! I bought a set of these from them at the GSMJI and will probably install them tomorrow. I painted my insert Snazzberry to match my Gladiator. I also really didn't like the silver badging so I sprayed it with plastidip to black it out. We’ll see how that lasts. I will post pictures when I’m done.

I have a road trip in exactly three weeks so I did all my maintenance. 5 quarts of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum with Mopar oil filter, rotated my tires, and replaced my engine and cabin air filter.

Im out of Wave visits and wanted the job done right. The cabin air filter was super dirty. I only have 16k miles on my 2021. I looked back on my last two write ups and the cabin air filter was marked off as OK. Basically no one checked. The engine air filter really didnt need changing, I just wanted a fresh one for the trip.

Also installed a Die Hard Platinum aux battery to match the main battery. For some reason the aux battery was hard to come by in my area, only a nine month delay.

Just realized my third brake light is out so now I have to go to the dealer, hopefully under warranty.

Thank you!

Yes, I agree. It's all about practicality, so we'll have to see. We have used Osmo, an oil/waxed based finish, to treat the bedplate and it has created a very hard surface that might hold up better overall than spray on bedliner. We'll really might have to try out more.

But overall, we're super happy with the overall result – although it has taken some serious time to make this. That's the downside if you want to create something that holds up on the same quality level as a Goose Gear platform. The upside is that the materials have cost us about $250 or so and the difference between this and a platform we could have bought paid for the tools to build it ... (at least if I also count the rear panel).

I have a similar philosophy. I’m completely ok buying a tool to do a project. In fact I enjoy remembering the project that needed that tool, the next time it gets used.
