My friends at For Fox Sake Offroad and Metalworks were able to remove the broken bolt in my diff housing. A nut was welded onto it and it backed right out. So my JT is 100% again. It got a nice wash tonight and a spot check with Rustoleum Rust Reformer, in preparation for winter.

Now you know how it's done.
The trick is to make sure to not weld the bolt to the diff housing. Experienced friends are of great value in these situations.

I finally took the time (2 years later) to install the Jeep Mopar performance wipers. Slightly modified the tubing where it comes through the cowl. Looked doomed from the start running it the way Mopar suggested in the instructions.

That looks like a great mod, especially for someone who has a Hi Lift Jack mount on their hood.

Why can´t Jeep make a UV-protected trim panel under those wipers? Both my JL and JT faded out. They did replace the one on the JT under warranty, but it will fade out, too. I may get them painted.

They are an upgraded wiper from Mopar. The water comes out on the blade versus spraying from the hood. You get great coverage on the first wipe with them. There's a disconnect in the water hose just under the hood from the cowl. You disconnect there and then connect the supplied hose. You do have to remove the wipers and cowl which isn't too hard, but a good trim tool and puller helps a lot. You then run the hoses up through the cowl and connect them to the new wiper blade. They also come with a spare set of wiper blades. I did have to use a little bit of extra hose because the hose supplied on the engine bay side was a little short. Here are the part I used:

Wipers

Puller

Shrink Tubing

Heat Gun

Trim Kit

1/2" Drill Bit

Extra Wiper Hose

You can buy with replacement ones or clip over pieces from distinction applied paint matched to your truck.

I was just looking at these the other day. Really not bad prices for painted to match.

They are going to be at the Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam this weekend and I am going to possibly pick up some of their stuff, well if they have what I may want in Punk'n.

I installed the MP Concepts Aluminum front bumper today (well actually yesterday).

Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] IMG_8414

Install was as much of a PITA as I’ve read about. Watching the install video on extreme terrain’s website was very helpful though.

I painted a set of OEM tow hooks and used those instead of the provided hooks, as well as a set of OEM led fog lights.

I was hoping to get the winch installed too (Apex Badlands 12k) but ran out of time. Hopefully I can work on it early next week.
