3 weeks ago, I tried to do my Armorlite install. I ended up snapping a trim piece in half. So I walked away and went back and forth trying to decide what I wanted to do. I ordered Tuxmats which cover the most, but still not all of the carpet. I knew I would never be happy with them so I returned them. Then tried Lasfit mats and they were no better than any other slush mat and barely covered anything. So I then decided I would try again. Then I stepped back and said it's not worth the effort, but I have to have them installed. So I paid American Adventure Labs in St George to install them today. Took them 3 hours or thats what they charged me. It was worth every penny. No broken clips. No scratched plastic. No scratched paint. No lost sanity. All of which I did on my Wrangler install. This floor should be an option at the very least and IMO should be standard on all JL and JT's. It was an expensive endeavor, but I'm in a much better mood right now than anyone else that has installed it themselves.

Mine didn’t require any additional holes to be drilled. The fronds did however require 3 3/8 Philips head screws. The factory rivet locations all lined up.

looks like Van_Tri and I got the same ones except mine didn’t come with washers. The screw head was large enough to handle it.

I’m going with the RokBlokz since they are quick disconnect if needed depending on the terrain.

Post some pics after you get everything installed I have RB as well, no fender extensions yet.

Do you have anything specific that you’re looking for angle wise or poke wise?

Had my front windows tinted to match the back windows.

fyi NY tint laws are brutal.
go to the DMV website, find the tint form. Take to doctor for your headaches…
He fills in the blank with migraines or headaches. You now can legally have all the tint you want, yes even the windshield.
It’s free, takes about a month to get back from DMV. Can only be mailed in.

If you don’t do this you WILL get pulled over and you cannot have your truck inspected until you remove the tint.

Just where the extensions come down to the RB flaps. I know they are lower than the Weathertech and there will be a gap. I didn't go with the wide so it may not look good together.

Added the Diode Dynamics clear side markers. Amber with the Mojave orange messed with my OCD. As per my usual of never having a clean install, I broke one plastic tree which doesn’t affect anything.

in conjunction with what starrskream said, it is a reason, regardless of MD note, to be pulled over. i am all for law enforcement but if there is anything, shall i say not kosher about you or the vehicle, it would then be discovered. although the tint would be excused the other infractions may stick.

Looks good! But now I have to point out that the taillights are red.

You would think that would bother me, but it doesn't. I don't even mind the bulkier lights. Had Oracle's on my JLU and that made such a huge difference over the stock halogens. On the Gladiator, I like the stock LED's.
