I do roughly 2800 miles a month .
With that sort of miles a month - you can follow the oil life monitor and be totally great.
I've had analysis done after about 7200 miles and it was found - plenty of life left.
As Lake has said, and my oil test results showed - the OLM is very accurate.

How many miles does the OLM usually work out to?

I was born and raised in the area around Morgantown/Fairmont/Clarksburg. Our cars were always covered with rust. I don't know if I would even try to keep a vehicle nice up there. The underside of my Gladiator gets washed and wiped down with Griot's Garage ceramic wax at least once a month. I still get asked if it's brand new every time I drive it. I've owned sports cars and diesel trucks, but I've never owned a vehicle that gets as many compliments as this thing. It never stays dirty long. :) My wife laughs at me when she sees me lying on my back cleaning the underside of the truck.
I been doing that as well wife just looks at me like I'm nuts 🤪 maybe I am . But this is what I do to stop that nonsense

Depending on the amount of starting stopping highway etc.. for me it is about 6000-6500

Totally varies with my driving. If I'm towing I can watch the oil life drop faster than miles accumulate. Short drives - drops it.
in an ideal world - 10,000 miles is 100%.
I've never seen it go that long on my driving. Normally it's down to needing an oil change at 8,000 miles or so if I'd actually run it out that far.

Yeah. It will vary. It knows when I tow, or plow or whatever, and cuts the life faster.

That makes sense. My local Jeep dealer recommends 6000, so I let him do the 6,000 mile change, and I will let him do the 12,000 mile change, since I got two free ones. I was surprised that he was even willing to rotate my tires and do the 5-tire rotation, despite the fact that my wheel and tire combo is pushing 125 pounds per.

Our vehicles never looked like that. I'm sure I'll have to spray the frame eventually, but I was wondering about spraying the inside of the frame with some kind of lanolin-based product.

Other than figuring out how to make it "better", I ran the rest of the snow plow wiring inside of the cab - and connected the power feed for the remote to the aux ACC wire.

I'd love to find a way to recess the square remote connector into the dash somehow instead of it just sticking down under the trim-
