Productive morning! (Actually didn’t take that long but I feel accomplished!) Got the dead pedal installed:

Then put a fire extinguisher in so I have it on hand:

Then I installed hood struts which work really well and improve access under the hood:

Just ignore the fact it looks like Fall out when it’s supposed to be almost Summer. 😢

Sorry, but spending 250 bucks to carry a 49 dollar table doesn't make much sense to me; kinda like taking a full coverage insurance policy on a 1987 Yugo with 185,000 miles on it. You can, but why ?

Exactly! Now my 1985 Yugo... That's another story! Full coverage with gap! 14.99% for 600 months!

Attempted to install my corner sliders. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. I’m going to have to look into fitment with the plastic bumper because it’s not just getting slapped on there without some dremel work. I was also worn down from yard work so I’ll tackle it again when I’m fresh. Not every project goes as expected. It’s a Jeep. 🤷‍♂️

Those struts are one of the first and best for price point things I slapped on mine.
And you know by the time I roll back into town on the 21st, the Great and Terrible Greenening will have begun in earnest.

Someone once told me, "...there are so many different shades of green here that you cant possibly count them individually...".
I thought they were being facetious. I was wrong.

Yeah, I should have put them on sooner. Like you said, wonderful value and a big difference when under the hood.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Greenening. We are 5-10 degrees below average for this time of year and about 2 weeks or so behind where we were last year too. Ground temps have been slow to rise this year and even the Mat-Su River was running real low last weekend as there just isn’t much snow melt in it yet. But it’s coming!

From what I've seen you do have to remove some of the rear bumper if it's plastic. (Metal one has the area precut.) A forum search might help your endeavors.

There was a thread on this mod way back in '19 or early '20 but search isn't finding it, but it broke down a visual on where to trim the plastic bumper to work with the bed sliders, but yes, cutting and Dremel work required.

Thanks guys. I looked but didn’t see it. I think I remember a thread on it quoted not too long ago but couldn’t find it either. I’m not against expeditiously cutting up the plastic bumper. Especially the bottom portion. I can see myself coming off the slider and snagging the bottom and ripping the whole bumper cover to kingdom come.
