Installed Teraflex Trail Select Adventure 3.5 lift. Pretty new kit, overall impressed however a crucial piece was lost in shipping.

I dont know if im allowed to say this yet, but I won a set of wheels from Dirt Road Cred. I got them installed yesterday. I can not thank Ryan and Matt enough, I have never won anything, totally kickass to win this. IDK if that makes us friends or if we are still on a parasocial level, but yall always have a place to stay if youre in GA.

First two photos should be before photos. Last two should be after photos.

I went from a full face Mammoth 17x9.5 wheel (for sale btw ) with a -6mm backspace to the Mopar beadlock wheel. Not as much poke and overall better looking wheel IMO.

FWIW:

On my change I used LiquiMoly SpecialTec OW20, a bottle of their Ceratec engine treatment, a K&N oil filter and did the diffs with LM's 74W90 gear oil. I pulled a sample of engine oil for an initial test to Blackstone to see if I'm going to need to plan on activating my powertrain warranty or not. I also put in an oil plug valve because... well, I like them.
The motor has quieted down significantly. Similar effect I had when I went from Mobil 1 to Amsoil in a VW turbo years ago and from Pentosin to LM in my e46. Strongly recommend seeking out LM oil for the crankcase if you're getting some angry typewriter noises.
I used that oil and ceratec as well on my oil change tonight too.

It's good stuff. Molybdenum was issued by the military and added by Allied pilots to their crankcases to keep their motors lubricated in the event the plane got hit and lost all oil pressure. LM patented it and the rest is history.

And- LM is only marginally more expensive per change than brands like Mobil 1. ($45 for M1 ow20 for 5QT vs $47 for LM ow20 SpecialTec). I add the Ceratec for another $36 a bottle but considering the long term effects it's worth the extra money. I want my motors to last a nice long time and considering my preference for needlessly complicated angry typewriters, it's a small investment in keeping the damned thing on the road.

Honestly it was cheaper on Amazon than my local parts stores. Autozone couldn even get the one I wanted. They could only get the one with the green dye in it to see under a uv light I think was the benefit. Amazon had speical tech for like 39 for 5 quarts, vs Mobil one was like 44.99. And a bottle of the ceratec was l believe 31. If you have prime……

Replaced the MXTA 25 3db gain Ghost antenna (looks like a V8 juice can) for a MXTA 26 6db whip (about 32" tall).

While sitting in my driveway, tried hitting a repeater about 25-30 miles away with the Ghost, wasn't happening. Tried with the whip, nice and loud and clear. So the whip for road use, the Ghost for trail. Easy peasy to swap out.

The whip is as tall as my stock radio antenna; no big fiberglass white 1/4" thick 1970's whip CB antenna that was SO cool back in the day....for extra coolness, you has a small pennant flag of some sort on it....

My old Firestik had a racquet ball on it. I’m looking at getting one of the bull bar type MX antennas. Probably the 3db for my desert runs. What type of terrain were you in when hitting those repeaters?

Installed my new custom seat covers! The materials are wilfire camouflage with diamond stitched charred wood inserts! Shout out to Covers and Camo! They even made more red line flags for the headrest as that is the theme of the Jeep!

About as wrong a test as there could be. I was sitting in my driveway in the middle of a subdivision, 2 story houses all around. BUNCH of whatnot between me and the repeater. My wife and I are about to hit the road for the rest of the week, I'm going to give both antenna's a shakedown. Right now I'm (learning) how to program in the repeaters along the trip; I have 2 programmed, going to try some more. The Midland makes it super easy to program it in, my handhelds...not so much.

TBH, the ghost antenna did perfectly fine while on the road and it will probably be my go-to antenna in place of the whip; one less pokey-uppy-thingy to worry about on the Jeep. And less of a visual flag there's a radio onboard, most do not know what a ghost antenna is for or what it does.

Oh, the super-duper quite expensive industrial Velcro that "says" it can hold up a 10 year old kid indoors or outdoors, well, it claims 75 lbs, not a child (I'm a bit of an ass).... gave way under this Texas heat. Not a big deal, barely hung down from under the dash, but I may try the Zip-Tie Method, I'm not one to drill holes in my vehicles for any reason.
