Trust me, I seriously considered just giving it a full send with my Milwaukee impact and call it good. That was the first time I found a need for my 350 ft-lb dial torque wrench I have had forever and a day
Back in the '90s, there was a TSB for the manual transmission in the 2500 pickup. It called for, if memory serves, 600 ft./lbs. of torque on the nut securing 6th gear. No torque wrenches in the dealership went that high. A 3/4 inch breaker bar and cheater bar and a couple of techs hanging from them were the correct torque spec.

Installed Builtright bedside molle panels and my Rotopax (water/fuel) canisters. Still have to add all my Quickfist attachments and 5lb propane holder. All the items from my dead Tacoma (off-road recovery gear, firefighter Halligan tool and NY roof hook) and various other stuff) still need to be added to the molle. Murder Spork shovel, hi-lift jack foot and full length axe on Quickfist on RSI Smartcap ceiling.

What brand gas container is that? Any issues with leaking?
It’s a RedRock 20L.
I haven’t filled it yet but having the relief valve on the bottom does concern me. I’m going to look at putting an o-ring in the cap and test it with water before I fill it with gas and hope for no problems.

This is sharp. Where’d you get the magnetic mounts for the shovel?

Thank you!

Installed the desert does it seat slammers, they work perfect and worth the time it took to install them, my Jeep is like a whole new vehicle with better site lines and more comfortable seat position

Did my first oil change today (easy to remember to do it on New Year’s as I never get over the mileage limits or hit 100% on the oil monitor within 12 months).

I had the Jeep Wave oil changes the prior times. Now I think I may regret that as there was way more than 5 quarts drained out of it. I thought I could put the oil back in the container after draining it but it was nowhere near fitting.

Checked the dipstick and it shows full with 5 quarts and oil pressure looks good at 30PSI at idle.

This was by far the easiest/fastest oil change I’ve done though.

So my wife bought me a refrigerator for my truck for Christmas. Not because we spend the night out in it , but because I travel a good bit to see family and she thought it would be nice Not to have to deal with ice all the time. Since I do not have an outlet in the bed, I thought I would add my own. 2 USB, 1 USB-C, 12V meter and cigarette plug. Just finish the install and all working fine. Did not want to cut the bed opening to fit everything so I made my own box. I may need to paint it at some point.
