Greetings! Happy owner of a 2025 Gladiator Big Bear edition (CA only version), and when I look at online tutorials and other owner posts in these forums, many things are different. One example is the location of the security gateway connectors that would allow me to connect a bypass cable - I cannot find them anywhere.

Is there a "Gladiator models / versions 101" I can reference someplace? Any hints or tips welcome!

I'll be posting about my reverse camera glare mod on a separate thread, it worked quite well.

Thanks! I already googled enough to realize the Black Bear edition is different to others in certain ways, and tutorials and parts don't necessarily apply.

Your pointer to AllMoparParts.com is to buy parts, or do they have a specific set of instructions on how to find the gateway connectors on this Jeep?

Most special editions are basically either a Willys with special stickers or a Sport S with special stickers and then whatever beverage/animal/land/plant/mythical creature themed bolt ons Jeep could find.

Wherever it is on one of those should be where it is on yours.

It's same as the High Tide.
For the Security Module.....It's up above the OBD2 plug in. There are two plugs coming out of it. Just squeeze the plugs and they will come out and you can connect your cable for the bluetooth adaptor to get the Jscan working.
You will need to get your drivers seat all the way back and down. Then open your drivers door all the way and get your head in WITH a flashlight.
I found it first when I went to connect my Auto Stop/Start Eliminator. Works great.
Just google how to install and the instructions are better than what you are googling.

The security module is way up in there, remove the panel under the steering column, then lay on your back and jam your head down by the brake pedal.

Go look at videos of Tazer Mini installs, it will show you exactly where the module is and how to access it.

Hi, just a follow-up on the security module mentioned above. I bought a 2026 Mojave X this week and I am having trouble finding the place to plug in the bypass cable. Does anyone know if Jeep changed it for the 2026 model year?

You may be on my same boat - I took another look at mine following the advice on this thread, and I still could not see it clearly. I'm digging up a borescope I have to take a look where I cannot see without starting to remove parts out of the way. Will update if I find it.

I managed to find it. My jeep has an aluminum box directly above the OBD port. The SGW is actually in front of the box, tucked in the very far corner, near the kick speaker and driver door. I was previously looking directly above the OBD port, so basically on the wrong side of the box. Thanks for the reply and good luck! It's up there!
