You sound like a lazy and excited teenager trying to learn about business by making claims so that others can teach you otherwise. My opinion~ very bad PR on FCA part.. it’s not like they are going to have 30 different colors..they are only offering 7-8 different colors..
Sounds like you didn't understandHumm, this is coming from someone who questioned if this was a PR stunt in a different thread.....
Then they'll wait. The only customer orders that have been possible are for the Launch Edition; as we're being told those are all spoken for, they can sit tight and dream of how it will look in their garage, forfeit the deposit and take a dealer allocation that shows up, or forfeit the deposit and pick a different vehicle.Funny thing is I was going to switch to Granite and my dealership told me that Granite is on the build list but it also was going to be pushed back and the people who ordered that color will have to wait or go to a different color??
Totally get what you are saying but FCA should inform its customers on when these colors will be released so they can make a decision on whether or not they want to wait for the color they really want or move forward with something different. I’m sure they have this figured out ( or at least I hope they have). That’s just my opinionSounds like you didn't understand
I stand by what I said. It may not be the sole reason, but it surely benefits them in that regard. You saw what happened with the LE edition orders. It was too much to handle for FCA.
Think about how customers would feel if the all new Gator color wasn't made public, and then the customers after having ordered their dream truck, realized all along they should've waited for Gator. It's best put all the potential colors out on display, regardless if they will be available late, or not at all.
Your point is definitely valid when you put it that way. To me, I think everything they're doing is so fluid that its more of an "under promise, over deliver" situation. What I wouldn't be happy with is if they put dates out but then (inevitably) had to push them back.Totally get what you are saying but FCA should inform its customers on when these colors will be released so they can make a decision on whether or not they want to wait for the color they really want or move forward with something different. I feel that. I expect to receive my late availability order around late Dec. 2019 - early Feb. 2020Totally get what you are saying but FCA should inform its customers on when these colors will be released so they can make a decision on whether or not they want to wait for the color they really want or move forward with something different. FCA has only announced what colors can be purchased on a LE so far (the only version that can be purchased as of today). There are no JTs in dealer inventory. FCA has not informed customers when the "early" colors will be available (other than Spring 2019). FCA has not informed customers when custom order banks will open. FCA has said other colors are "late" availability, which means they will be later than "early" colors.Totally get what you are saying but FCA should inform its customers on when these colors will be released so they can make a decision on whether or not they want to wait for the color they really want or move forward with something different.
