I'm not a fan either but why do we have to kill the guy because he likes it? too much judging imho.
"Kill the guy"? That's a bit extreme, wouldn't you say? No one is killing anyone, nor is anyone being overly rude. Perhaps you need to spend some time on Pirate4x4 where you will learn some context and see what "rude" really is. And just as a bit of a disclaimer, if we tell you to "drink bleach", you don't actually drink the bleach. ;)

But seriously, forums are for exchanging ideas and opinions and with vehicles there are bound to be a lot of differing tastes. I am old enough to remember when offering a different opinion was not some sort of personal attack or serious offense that has people running for their "safe space". Contrary to how some parts of society want the world to be, the Internet is still more like the Wild West than any sort of utopia and it can be a "rude" place. Better to develop a thick skin and learn how to deal with and handle differing opinions than take it all as some sort of insult and get offended. I like white Gladiators, but I am in not way offended by people who say they do not like white, or that they prefer Gobi or Gator or whatever. I don't necessarily like the way a lot of people use their Jeeps, but I am not offended by it, nor am I offended if they say they do not like the way I would use my truck. The way I do things on the Internet is I try to be friendly and welcoming, but I don't act like someone I am not and nor do I pull any punches. "Punches" being a figure of speech. Learn, share and enjoy but don't waste time with things that are of no consequence. Just my .02 :like:

A little light-hearted internet mockery may save him or her the indignity of wearing that thing around in real life. Or if it is actually the Chinaman researching the viability of that product in the JT market, well, hopefully they figure it out.

Or it will toughen them up in the event they forge on and strap that on the front of a Gladiator.

And for those wondering, Google Lens is how I identified that grille, take or save a photo and share it to Google Lens and it will identify most things, or at least get you close. I do this with bugs and plant life, works pretty good, although I didn't have any expectation it would identify that tragic piece of automotive malfeasance, it did point me to Amazon which at least identifies the manufacturer.
