Has anyone installed the 4 or 6 Roadshock Edge lights? If so please provide a picture of where the backlighting wire is supposed to plug into.
Thanks.
Thanks.

"key enabled aux wiring". Are you referring to the AUX switch panel wiring? Wiring it into the running lights where?Typically people wire them into the running lights or the key enabled aux wiring.
The running lights on the fender. Some use this instead of a tap. https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/daytime-running-lamp-adapter-wiring-harness-jeep-wrangler-jl"key enabled aux wiring". Are you referring to the AUX switch panel wiring? Wiring it into the running lights where?
I didn't hook up mine but I'd imagine you wire it to a switch if you want to turn it off and on or to your DRLs if you want em autoHas anyone installed the 4 or 6 Roadshock Edge lights? If so please provide a picture of where the backlighting wire is supposed to plug into.

For the aux , if you have factor aux switches you have a wire that's hot when the engine is running. This post from jl forum has the color guide for you. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...cable-color-code-wiring-identification.13026/
I was thinking the backlights being on whenever the amber side marker lights are on. Not with DRL's. I am going to skip that. Leaving the black covers on the lights anyway until needed offroad.I didn't hook up mine but I'd imagine you wire it to a switch if you want to turn it off and on or to your DRLs if you want em auto
I was under the impression the side markers are DRLs or at least they only come on with DRLs.I was thinking the backlights being on whenever the amber side marker lights are on. Not with DRL's. I am going to skip that. Leaving the black covers on the lights anyway until needed offroad.
I can't even figure out how to get the switch routed into the cab and then how and where to mount the relay. About to dump this project and return all of it. I'll just shine my flashlight into the ditch.I was under the impression the side markers are DRLs or at least they only come on with DRLs.
Into the cab is easy. you can run it through any of the fire wall plugs like i did or run it behinde the winsheild and into the a pillar trim like a did for my antenna cables.I can't even figure out how to get the switch routed into the cab and then how and where to mount the relay. Have you done any type of 12v automotive electrical before?I can't even figure out how to get the switch routed into the cab and then how and where to mount the relay. About to dump this project and return all of it. I'll just shine my flashlight into the ditch.
I wired the 12v plug for fridge in bed to aux switch. That's it. Where is the entry point to fish the switch into the cab?Have you done any type of 12v automotive electrical before?
Winsheild is 4 bolts using your Jeep supplied tool kit. You have to take the wipers off as well, also with the Jeep tool kit. Then a 10 mill to pull of the grab handle trim and dash speaker cover. straight drop into the driver or passenger footwell depend on which side your on. Or u can run them up the column if your adding a switch up there. I recommend buy i 6 to 8 gang switch systems. takes a lot of the hassle out. Auxbeam is a good budget option. Then you only have to run one cable through the firewall instead of 15.I wired the 12v plug for fridge in bed to aux switch. That's it. Where is the entry point to fish the switch into the cab?
Firewall plug would be easiest but not seeing it. Actually looks like the windshield route is better and would def. work. Did you have to drop the windshield to do that?

The A-pillar slight plates I purchased to mount the lights on are defective, couldn't tell until I had one side complete and light mounted. Sucks. So I am bailing on this mod, too much trouble.Winsheild is 4 bolts using your Jeep supplied tool kit. You have to take the wipers off as well, also with the Jeep tool kit.
