Me and a couple friends are heading yo Colorado on a short road trip and are looking to do some moderate trails and dispersed camping. We will making a loop from RMNP down to Breckeridge down to Leadville and finishing up at Pikes Peak. We are some what experienced four wheelers (and responsible). My rig is a JT Max Tow w/ Rubicon take off wheels/tires.

There’s trails opening up, good news right?

The camping depends which trail your on and you need to check the MVUM for clarification.

One of my favorite trails opened up on Tuesday, pole hill trail, just south of Estes park. It has dispersed camping allowed.

There’s a but though... there’s a stage 1 fire ban going on in the Arapahoe FS district. UGH
