Where is the Telematics box on a 2023 Rubicon?

I was flipping through a 2023 order guide and it lists the telematics box module as only on the Sport models, not Overland, Rubicon, or Mojave. Must be included in the 8.4" touchscreen instead? It looks like I was searching for a non-existent module.

Pretty sure that's not the case. per moparparts website:

Both of them have the TCB module for the gladiators. I followed this video which was still applicable to my 2024:



I'll report back with any oddities, so far everything appears to work via the fob but now not via the phone app. Stereo doesn't seem to be irritated with the unplugged antennas any longer. We shall see...

Where is it? If mine has one it is not where it is shown in that video or in any diagrams I have seen.

Mine was a bit more towards firewall. It’s up in there pretty high. Unplugged the gray latch plug. Only thing I seem to have lost is xm.

Digging into this further I see reference to rigs w/o navigation. The ones with built-in navigation the telematic device may likely be built within stereo head-unit. I do not have nav on my '24 Gladiator, maybe that is the difference here.. Keep in mind there were a fair amount of interior changes with '24 model year, way different stereo, maybe the device jumped out of the head-unit for all models at that time, who knows..

Just wanting to let ya know yours may be integrated within the 8.4"? stereo if you have nav.

On a separate note, I'm trying to figure out what/if anything I have in my '16 Challenger SRT with the 8.4" stereo w/nav.

AH, multiple youtube videos exist; and the notations on Premium sound / 8.4 in indicate it is IN the head unit. Not under beside the steering column. If correct in the head unit; guess one will be swapping out for a Stinger head unit or other audio system head unit. AND I will be continuing to search before spending the BUCKs for Stinger or other.
