And/or do you ever plan on using that power in the bed for anything else?

No. Putting a simple cigarette plug 12 volt on there. Fridge only.

You say it is dedicated to the fridge, then use the 15amp, most fridges draw no where near that. Your Iceco fridge should have a plate that says max current draw and current draw, changing the fuse to something closer to the frige max current load would be a good idea. Also just to make it a little better ARB makes a fridge plug and socket, and the socket has a screw in feature on it, so it would be for the fridge only, and their fridge cord comes with a cigarrette adaptor to use if needed like in some other car. The 40amps are good for heavy load like an air comprssor or hot plate perhaps.......Jack

Fridges typically need to run all the time. On the go, this is great, but overnight this may not be the best setup with a stock single battery. On overlanding trips, I use a power station for the fridge. For day trips what you have in mind is great.

Ok, but what about 15 or 40?

There have been some good points made above: depends on the size of your fridge and how much it draws. My money would be that 15A is enough. I use the 40A Aux wires for high draw items like large lights. Most of the modern fridges are highly energy efficient.

Don’t most of them have 12v/cigarette lighter connections? I think those are fused for 20amps in our jeeps but they recommend 13 or 15 amps or so.
So, agreed you’ll have to check how many amps your fridge draws, but I’m guessing it won’t be high enough to need the 40amp circuit. I’m guessing the 15A circuit will be fine.
