Whinning noise on acceleration 2022 Diesel

I have a 2022 rubicon diesel with 2k miles. I have noticed a mid to high pitch whine upon acceleration that changes with the transmission shifting.
I noticed it the week after i purchased it.
I would compare thr noise to an old Ford ranger or van with whining power steering.
Is this noise normal for thee
diesel 8spd or maybe its coming from the transfer case.

Yes it does

That's not normal at all. All you should hear is slight engine clatter and a faint spooling of the turbo.

Might be the rear differential. Mine rear lash was out of spec from the factory that caused a very slight whine just like you described. It's gone after i regeared.

I swear my rear end whines on decel... Only 10k on it.
