Anyone else having an issue with their Wi-Fi hotspot? Since activating my AT&T service plan the Wi-Fi hot spot has been hit and miss and lately more miss. If I open the app it shows I have 4G (signal strength varies) but when you try to connect a device the device either says network out of range or password incorrect. The unit also did the infamous reboot on its own last night for the first time @ 2200 miles. Anyone out there experience this? @JeepCares

@JeepCares. The vehicle has 4G reception but the uconnect unit wont let my devices connect. It believe it is a vehicle problem not a cellular service issue. Can you see if there is a history of this complaint?

Hi Scott,
I am not seeing any TSB's relating to what you are experiencing. If you believe this has something to do with your infotainment center, we recommend reaching out to your dealer so they can take a further look. If any assistance is needed while working with your dealer, please send us a private message.

@JeepCares Alex, I am finding other uconnect users from multiple forums experiencing the same issue and they have been routed to AT&T and everything checks out on the cellular end. The general consensus is that it is a firmware problem and they hope the Fall update fixes the bug. Can you confirm a Fall update is coming?

Hi Scott,
We cannot speculate on whether an update will be released in the future that will address your concern. However, you are welcome to private message us periodically to see if any new TSB's or software updates have been released.
