That’s looks decent. I might have to go that route. Nice rig!
I think this lift with 285/75R17 tires would be perfect for an all around vehicle. Unfortunately, I don’t ever seem to take the practical build bath.

Did you still have some rake with the spacer lift? I would like to go that route, but want to keep some rake for hauling.

You keep ALL the rake. Front and rear spacers are the same height. I was okay with it initially but after a steel bumper and winch, I have some 3.5” front springs on order.

I think the lift is fine if you’re not adding a bunch of weight to the front.

Installed Rockhard 4x4 Rock Rails that showed up today. Well, mostly installed. The absolute last bolt that I was tightening all a sudden got real loose then fell right out. Seems that the rear body mount nut let loose but that’s a battle for another day.

I leveled out my Jeep today by removing the from AEV 2” coil spacers and adding 3.5” JKS coil springs.

The JKS springs were ~ 4” longer than the factory springs.

While I had it apart, I swapped in some high quality Czech bumpstops.

To make fine tuning the uptravel easier in the future, I tapped the spring perches. (Did not love trying to get a nut in below them)

After the swap, it’s sitting ~2” higher in the front. Part of that gain is likely due to the factory springs sagging with the winch, bumper, and heavy rock rails.

The DIY rack is finally done. I’ve been putting some miles on with the kayak up top to ensure everything holds up. I think it’s going to serve its purpose well. Though aesthetically, the rack would look better if it was lower, being at cab height will also allow me to carry a SUP or anything else of the like.

With the removal of the 4 bolts on the bed rails, I can easily remove the rack by myself. Also, the DIY bed sliders are incredibly handy for accessing the rack to strap things down. Finally, the trifold tonneau cover can still function just as it would if there was no rack.

Bumper is sharp. Wheels look good. Dont stick too far out in my opinion, looks good.
I agree looks good. But the state of Pennsylvania doesn't allow the tires to stick out at all past the fenders. Depending on where you're driving, you could be asking to be pulled over in this state. I've been grappling with the same issue, looking to find some nice 35 inch tires that stay tucked.

Yep, they stick out way too far for PA. They were tucked pretty well on my JK but on the JT, it’s a different story.

Just like when I got ticketed for driving doorless, you never know when you’re going to catch the wrong officer on the wrong day. I’ll run this way until it becomes an issue.

Hey, have the same basic truck.

How are you liking the bumper? Any issues? It's my top choice.

Awesome looking truck!

Thanks. I really like the bumper. Between the design and the stamping, it reminds me of an AEV Milspec bumper that I had a few JKs ago. The lines are really nice.
So far, the 2 drawbacks about this bumper (which I knew before I bought it) are.
1. The hooks are stupid big. Wish they were a bit more subtle like the ones on my rear Go Rhino Bumper.
2. Rust has appeared where the hooks go through the bumper. I saw a forum member state this so I wasn’t completely surprised but I was very cautious during the install and it still must’ve chipped.

That being said, at this price point, it is a very nice bumper ??

Apparently I don’t spend much time on forums in the summer since it’s been so long, that I had to log back in….

No exciting build updates. Just some token summer activity pics.
