So you have a fob but no buttons on it to unlock the doors? Or is there a chip in the key?

It's a fob with only a mechanical button to unfold the key, which unlocks/locks the doors and tailgate. No extra buttons.

And then has push button start ignition which detects the fob.

I don't mind the not having power windows. Auto door locks be n in ce mostly because if you want to open back door. When I ordered I couldn't get the spray in bed liner, I wish they offered premium soft top, they didn't do I ordered hard top. Ordered aux switch panel, of course then they make you have to order tow package...lol. Anyway love having the anti theft device, I think they call it a standard 6 speed..

I bought my Gladiator Sport in 2020 before they had the Willys series. Wanted bare bones. Don't need bells and whistles. I went to Jeep.com and checked 13 options and found one with 11 of the 13 options including Gobi paint. Coming up on 3 years of ownership. It has 16K on the clock and the only maintenance done to it was oil changes. I got 4 free and used the last one last fall. Only thing missing in the picture is the Jeep hood deflector.
