I place a tire and wheel order with Custom Wheel Offsets and they seemed confused about TPMS sensors. When I ordered them it was all good adding the sensors (I ordered over the phone), I kept getting these text messages from them saying to add the sensors. I called them to see what the deal was and they told me they removed them from my order because the gladiator doesn't need them. I said, that's not correct and after more minutes on hold they added the sensors back to my order..........weird. Has anyone else had any trouble like this?

Haven’t done anything yet. Plan on taking it to discount tire this weekend. CO said they would give me up to $100 credit back if discount charges me to ‘fix’ it.

@Discount Tire do you guys see this a lot with Jeep’s? Can you fix the sensors that they installed or are we stuck buying new ones?

I would love to hear what discount tire had to say. I should've ordered from them apparently.

Mine from CWO worked in that they indicate the pressure on the dash but I still get a TPMS light.

Was told I need a programmer to actually go in and MANUALLY enter the SN's from the sensors. The "auto scan and update" did not work at two locations.

So, for now, I live with the light. Will eventually have dealer or someone go in and manually enter SN's.

Ok, that's good info. How do you get the SN's of the sensors?

The programmer reads them.

Normally it reads and tries to auto update. But when that fails, you need to read and write down the SN of each. Then use the programmer to go into the right area in the program and manually change the SNs.

This us what the last place told me.

I bought these sensors and had them installed when my tires were mounted on to the new rims. I had zero issues. The truck picked them up without any tuning, reset or programming. All I did is drive. ?‍♂

I didn't want to have to pull the OEM sensors out of the stock wheel/tire combo. That will let me swap them back on to the truck at any time.

When I did wheels and tires my factory sensors were reused. My mechanic used a rebuild kit that included hardware to reinstall them. Apparently the factory hardware can get damaged taking them off and reinstalling.
