Window tint issues and questions.

Screen off is how I run at night unless I need navigation.
I can remember driving in the dark as a teenager and I could see my friends' faces through the windshields of oncoming cars.
Those days are gone and now I have to make myself look at the right hand edge of the road just to prevent being blinded completely by the headlights.
Ambient interior lights wash out my vision, so I turn them off or as down low as possible.

speaking of tint, I've been scouring for something cool to put in this rear door window space.

Ideally, it would be semi transparent and not fully opaque.
if I can't find anything, I'm thinking about cutting out a piece of this stuff they use on buses.

I get this on my 2022 overland without tint on the front and passenger windows. I live rural and drive dark mountain roads as well. I suppose there is a way to dim down all the dash lights but so far I have not tried.

There is that dial to the left of the wheel that controls brightness :/. This is also the first vehicle I've owned with a hard button to turn the center screen off while leaving the system on rather than having to go through menus.
