Unreasonably short notice, but I’m going tomorrow if anyone is interested. My guess is I’ll get there around 10ish.

Dan I was up there this past Feb. I ran 2 of the 3 BOH trails (26 and 51) guy at the general store told me avoid trail 16 unless you were willing to take some damage, so I didn't even look at it. Windrock was a great trip. Looking forward to some pics and a review if you decide to run trail #16. Good luck out there buddy, stay safe and have fun! Oh, the Windrock trail app was very helpful BTW.

I got all three of them accomplished. 26, then 16, then 51. 51 was by far the easiest. 16 was a thing, but no damage. I at one point had the passenger taillight pined to a wall, but was able to use the rear winch to move it off the wall gently. Then inched forward while slowing letting line out, until it was clear. I’m very happy to have that rear winch. It gets me out of tough spots alone without damage. My buddy has a picture of it that I’ll post when he gives it to me. Since we were alone, it’s mostly go pro stuff.

That's great! Maybe I need to go back and get #16... Hitting any other trails on the way home? I don't head out till October, itching to get back on the trails.

I wish, but it’s time to relieve my wife. She’s going to need a spa weekend or three after agreeing to deal with the kids alone for 3 days on each end of this. I’m leaving TN bright and early with the goal of being home by dinner on Tuesday. But it’s Pritchett on May 9th. That’ll be a true test of everything up until now.

Here are a few pictures from today, including me winching a little to save my taillight. No front winching was needed all day, which surprised me a little. Lots of mud.

Regarding you getting 16, I’ll need to make the trek again sometime maybe next year or in the fall for SC and GA. I’m sure we can plan it all and do Windrock together as well.

Let me know when you start planning. I’m closer to Moab than Ouray. Holy Cross (40 minutes away) is a good one as well. Tough trail, but doable by leaving your pride at home. Winches will be used, but damage is relatively easily avoided by taking your time and using winches when necessary.
