Thanks for the info. Do you have a link or more info on the grey connector?
Here is two of them.

Just shop around and find best price and color you want. Some will have a tab that blocks other colors from connecting to one or other.

Thanks. I'll look into those or a SAE plug. Maybe I can add one of them to what I already installed.

I’m doing something similar. Using this smaller size powerpole connector because I wanted a more secure connection than the standard 12v socket.

10ga wire to AUX 2 switch(set to be only be powered when truck is running). Going to power my Jackery which powers a smaller 32qt frig while traveling. Truck keeps Jackery topped off when ruining, frig on 100% Jackery when truck is off.

Yeah i'm not a hundred percent sure about the standard 12v plug. I believe I'm going to add an additional plug for a more secure fit. I've heard nightmares about that standard 12 V plug. I ended up using 8ga on mine. I plan on testing it out on a trip in February.

Wire is cheap compared to the amount of labor running it back there. Personally I'd run a #6 minimum just in case. Maybe you want to add an air compressor one day? Maybe you decide you want a big inverter? The work running, dressing, securing, and protecting the wire from heat, sharp edges, and moving parts is basically the same. Then you KNOW you'll never have to do it again.

This is true but I have no plans of adding anything else. It didn't take me long to run it and secure it. It's.
protected with loom and tie wrapped nicely. Gives me something to do with my free time lol.
