Looking for a little guidance. I have the Grimm ARB twin compressor mount under the master cylinder. As the picture shows its connected to the Grimm 4xe set up. It works perfectly but I would like to be able to “disarm” the exterior ARB switch so its never turned on outside of when I want it to be (i.e. a busy body toying with my stuff) The switch has black/red/purple connected from wiring harness. I am also running the Garmin Switch and thought I could use it to interrupt the set up. I know if I just run the purple to the Garmin I can control it from my Garmin Tread and not the outside ARB switch. My thought is if I run the purple to the Garmin switch and back to the ARB switch I would need to turn on the Garmin circuit to make the ARB switch live. Sure it sounds ridiculous but makes sense to me. Obviously cant get ARB to give me an answer because they are limited in their response. Thoughts? Questions?

Get a appropriate sized relay to match the positive wire feeding the switch. Split the wire and run it across the Normally Open points on the relay. Use the inside switch to trigger the relay. The outside switch will only function when the inside switch is on.

That is a bad ass setup! I wonder if us non 4XE guys could add that piece of cowling and do the same?

Thank you. Can confirm, ONLY the non-4XE can use this set up. It comes with everything (hose, harness, cowl piece and door) to do the install. I just had a local body guy do the paint work. I justified its existence yesterday when I got my wife's tire sensor light to go off by airing her up….an approved purchase lol

Hello Brain, were you able to disarm the exterior ARB switch? How did you get your Sy-Klone pre filter on your snorkel?

Hello Brain, were you able to disarm the exterior ARB switch? How did you get your Sy-Klone pre filter on your snorkel?
I ended up removing the single wire from the exterior switch and went back through the cowl to the Garmin Switch setup. I fire it up through my GPS on dash.

As far as Syclone, they have a video online that suggests using HVAC tape that I picked up at Home Depot (2” wide 1/8” thick) and slide it down onto snorkel and locked down. No movement in the past 6 months
