Can anybody on here tell me how to wire my bumper LEDs to the stock fog light switch? The bumper has (1) 144w light bar, (2) 20 watt, and (2) 18 watt light bars on it…

I also have a rear bumper wit 2 20 watt leds I want to wire to my bed cargo lights… any info would be a help!!

happy to join the jeep world and the forum

put the connector off the light and turn it on and use a volt meter to find your hot wire. use that wire as the trigger for your relay which will pull the main power from your aux switch if you want it selectable or batter if you just simply want it on anytime you fogs are on. you will need to tap that wire by either using a crimp on wire tap or soldering. i just did the same thing except i wanted mine to come on with high beams. i just made an extension cord essentially to extend the oem wires so the oem wires were never actually cut or tapped. i just tapped my extension.

that picture is of a grey molex mx150 which is actually the wrong connection. i had to remake it with a black molex mx150 which is alittle different and i didn’t take a picture of that extension. that is the plug for the headlights. if you tap that connection you would have the option for low beam or high beam only. i choose to tap high beam so it was fast for me to dim my auxiliary lights on the road. https://a.co/d/fiFOsNJ
