Problem: less than 2 week old 2020 gladiator 3.6 auto rubi wont start (clicks, no crank).

History:
1. At dealer 2 weeks ago at test drive, rruck was left in Drive when I first got in it, wouldnt start. Dealer put slightly smaller BMW battery (bmw dealer) in to let me test drive. ASS light on.
2. I bought it as is.
3. Immediately ordered/installed tazer light to remember ASS off.
4. Removed aux bty ground cable (taped it, zip tied out of way)
5. Removed whatever fuse utube said to disable ESS (42?)
6. Drove it a few miles a few days, no issues.
7. Parked it and left on a trip. Loaned it to buddy and it wont start (i parked it in front of my Ring flood liggr, can see what he is trying and talk him thru it. Wouldnt remote start, button start or jumpstart.

I assume a parasitic drain, order the 850cc H7 walmart battery to install once home. I will check my ground, my connections.

I did test the winch briefly, plugging in remote, testing it for 1sec and unplugging the remote. Maybe it kept some extra draw? I plan on installing a physical disonnect switch to the winch next week once home.

What else am I missing? Its a 2020 with 147k miles, lots of carfax info: new motor 143k, new trans 146k, new battery 147k in May. Coincidence or timing?

New to Jeeps but can watch a utube video and figure most things out.

Is there an aftermarket alarm/tracking system installed by a dealership? I just went through a similar issue after leaving the country for 90 days and the battery draining while I was gone. Most systems have battery protection that shuts everything off once the voltage drops to a certain point, but many aftermarket systems the dealerships put on are wired directly to the battery.

Great idea, yes, I recall the sales guy mentioning that the dealer installed something! I declined all dealer add ons to include that but recall it was left on the car. I will find it and remove it! Thanks

What's the voltage at the battery? Are there any codes?
Away on travel, will check voltage at bty, once started with new bty (to confirm alternator charging) and check for errors.
