Thanks to this very forum, I learned my splash screen wasn't displaying Rubicon upon startup. I know it's not a huge issue, however I mentioned it as my vehicle is being serviced for the recall and the selectable tire fill alert. A new cluster is now on order and the JT will be back home soon! I just wanted to mention it as I have a Jeep cares case open on another vehicle and I mentioned it to them as well. The indicated more than a few Rubicons have this issue out in the field so give it a look the next time you get ready for a drive!

New cluster for a splash screen? You would think it’s a programmable item.

Was anything else missing? Do all models have off road pages that show sway bar disconnect etc? were those missing?

I see you have a Launch Edition, seems to be that all of them were setup with the wrong splash screen, mine too had the base Sport one. I used my Tazer to change mine to the Rubicon one, so it’s good to go now.

That being said, I don’t think the cluster is going To fix it. I say this because after programming mine to be the Rubicon one, I took it in for the STFA TSB update. That update reloads the BCM configuration back to stock and turns on STFA. When did they did This, my cluster reverted back to the stock Sport one. My guess is since that seems to be stored in the BCM, when they install a new cluster it’s just going to pickup that setting and still show the Sport screen.

I am surprised they ordered a new cluster for that or would even entertain it for a warranty submittal.

All good to know! I will call them ASAP on Tuesday before they install anything given what you described.

It does sound like this issue is primarily affecting LE's.
