Chances are slim, but figure I’d ask here before ordering one…

Anyone in SoCal parting out their JT and have a Hellwig rear sway bar to sell? I can provide my stock one if needed (from a Max Tow if that matters).

@justbig how is your rear articulation with the whiteline? I have the RLD stainless canopy plus iKamper RTT and I'm looking to help with stability, but I'm also concerned about the loss of articulation with the stiffer sway bar.

I run a relatively heavy RTT (180lbs+) plus the Leitner rack and full length side boxes full. It helped the highway stability significantly! Since installing been to Moab, San Rafael Swell, Big Bend, and the Ozarks, I can't tell that at any time it has hindered me at all. I have been running on the middle hole for the entire time. I have heard of some once they get to the trail switching to the farthest rear hole "aka soft setting" but I think the middle for me is the sweet spot for both on/off-road. I have considered trying closest or stiffest setting just to see, but haven't been overly motivated to. Install was 20min tops, zero tire removal including the spare. 6 bolts.

Thanks. I may just pick one up. $236 shipped including tax direct from their website.

Verify they are in stock first if you can. I ordered direct and after a week did not have shipping info. Called and they were out of stock. They apologized, said that it wasn't suppose to take my order if out of stock and offered a refund or wait. I was on a time crunch so they credited me and I I ordered from Extreme Terrain.

Interesting. I would think XT would drop ship direct from Whiteline

Just ordered. What springs are you running? I'm about to throw on some AEV 2.5" standard capacity. Will add the RAM 1500 airbags if necessary.

I started with the Airlift 1000 bags for the Gladiator and they helped. Then the sway bar. Ended up with Eibach springs and shocks. I did move the bags to the new springs but never add air other than the min suggested 5 lbs. Found the springs/shocks on Sale at TireRack for $100 more than just the shocks alone. I have a Rubicon, the OEM Fox are extremely soft. Was leaning towards the Bilstein 5100's. Read where the Eibachs aren't quite as firm as the Bilsteins. So when I found the sale for the 2" springs and shocks for $650 I jumped. I did change my sway bar end links to some longer generics from Amazon. TerraFlex front spring perches to correct the spring bow. Happen to find on Maretplace, Evo track bars and TerraFlex lower control arms for less than half price. Then just put on this weekend an Amazon $180 knock off of the Steersmarts trackbar/steering sector brace. Then I set my castor to 6.5 deg and wow! Its a considerably different driving vehicle. I also looked into Dobinson and Ironman 4x4 springs, as they both have an HD version. Again when the Eibachs were $650 for springs and shocks I jumped. Thankfully no regrets either.

Nice. I found a set of used AEV 2.5” with the 5100 shocks for $100. Some surface rust but I scrubbed it off and re-painted it. The seller upgraded to AEV 3” HD with the 8100, so nothing wrong with them.

I have the AirLift 1000 bags in the stock Max Tow springs right now. Found Rancho geometry brackets, TeraFlex rear track bar bracket, and TeraFlex progressive bump stops (yellow foam) all on Amazon warehouse (like-new returns).

I also got new TeraFlex front spring perches and used TeraFlex quick disconnect sway bar end links.

That whiteline bar is slightly larger than the Helwig correct?

Sounds like you have pieced together a pretty good setup! Good luck with the sway bar, I have zero complaints.

Yeah, 24mm vs 7/8” (22.2mm). I am a little concerned it will be too stiff. Will probably run it in the softest setting and see how it does.

I found a site selling a new Hellwig for $350 shipped vs $250 shipped for the Whiteline from XT, but they shipped so fast and it was too late to cancel. Lol

I'm carrying a lot of weight so it might not be too bad. Plus when fully set up or a long camping trip it's quite a bit heavier
