I want to try to mount these on my factory plastic Rubicon bumper. A few weeks ago my left front tire bounced a piece of gravel at an odd angle off the back of the bumper and it came back and cracked the windshield. This looks like an easy fix if I can find a set and make them work. If anyone has a set they are willing to part with, please let me know and hopefully we can work something out

If these are what you’re after they’re pretty inexpensive.

I just got a set from a member here yesterday, Kevin did me a solid and I have a Mojave and a JL Sahara, without spending time taking back covers off, looks like they will fit both. Wife does not like the mud and salt on her clean Jeep, and we are very happy with her gas mileage but wonder if throwing them on would help with the highway mileage that on long trips is 24.5 mpg already. I’ll spend a little bit of time and see if they fit for you…..Jack

PS: Mojave could use help in the mileage department and put a lot of miles on towing and running to beach locations so might be the better choice.

JaxMax,
Just checking in to see if you have had time to try to get them installed? The parts mananger at my local dealership said that they usually throw them away when a customer asks to have them removed but that he will hold me a set if he gets the chance. If I know they will fit, I'd be happy to pay for a new set but I was really hoping one of forum members might tossed theirs into a parts bin and wouldn't mind getting rid of them. I'd rather start with a set of take offs to see if fit or can be made to, before ordering a new set. The part numbers that Gren71 listed above are what I'm chasing and the total cost shipped is only $67. That may be the direction I take if no one offers any take offs but getting confirmation that they can be made to work would sure be nice to hear

The air dams are goofy looking and even if they help protect the windshield from rocks kicked up by the front tires, which I don’t know that they will, I’m not sure I can live with the look. That’s the main reason I was hoping to find someone’s takeoffs. Eventually I’ll put on a bumper that closes up that gap more, but I don’t plan to until the plastic OEM picks up some damage

Uhhhhh nope! I pride myself on being talented at getting things to work and fabbing things up, bumper profiles are different and I think I would do better with mudflap plastic or thin starboard material. Where my finger is pointing is one thing that really screws it up, but shape of bumper is different......Jack

Thank you for reporting back about it. I was hoping it would work for you. I've looked at several pictures and one on a dealers lot last year and knew they were a little different but without actually trying there was no way to be sure. I thought about using part of an old bed mat but figured that would look even worse than the dams. Like you said, part of a mud flap would probably be the best option
