this years damage:
1x passenger side mirror
1x minor dent in side of bed
1x major dent in side of bed
1x popped all fenders at least once (the front left not quiet right)
1x scratched and dinged everything underneath and all bumper end caps but still holding

I don’t mind the scratches but the broken mirror and the major dent has to be repaired. I am curious if 40s will lead to less damage (vs 35/37)
Is that mostly due to the tight trails you need to navigate in the upper east coast area? Wheeling with trees a few inches away on either side can take it's toll!

After seeing this, I guess I should feel better about the small scratches I accidently put on with the carwash foam brush.

Yeah trees up here in the northeast. JLUs are considered too long here sometimes but I love the JT!! also every piece of actual body damage incurred I had lost track of a tree so a bit my fault. also forgot to mention all rims are heavily scratched too !!

I would have a sh!t hemorrhage if I put the above pictured damage on my $50,000+ truck EVER, much less in the first year I owned it.

My new-to-me 2020 Stingray JTR with 18,000 miles has some spots on the clear stone guard on the right rear fender and it annoys me every time I wash it, ha ha.

LOL! We all have different approaches to Jeeping and all are good. For me it's a tool for experiences and adventures. The dents and dings are all reminders of fun times.

No doubt, me too....my better half would have a stroke. Thats prob $4-5k in damage after paint work and such. And this stuff will never pass insurance muster for the repair.

I am a lot closer to $100k in this Jeep than $50k. I have no plans to repair it. I like it like this! LOL

I have always used my vehicles for what they are designed for. I abused the crap out of my Corvette, Porsches, etc. They all were run hard on tracks.

I understand wanting to keep them pristine. That's just not me.
