I like the YJ too. I had a 95. I remember people telling me it wasn’t a “real Jeep” because it had square headlights lol. Kind of like the same B.S. people pulled with the JT or unlimited when it came out.

I like that conversion because it somewhat recalls some of the older J series trucks, and helps differentiate it from the JL. One reason I wanted the M715 front end, aside from it looking badness.

Yes! Don’t get me wrong I love my JTR, but square headlights and a grille akin to the J-truck on the JT was a missed opportunity to set the Gladiator apart from the wrangler.

This is the Quadratec 30th anniversary build for anyone who wants to look it up. Saw it out at EJS, very cool.

Especially because Jeep clearly felt the need to keep telling us that the JT is not just a Wrangler with a bed...

Because they know that's what it looks like. A different look would have helped break the connection.

I’m almost 100% certain it was a one-off grill Quadratec made for the jeep. I remember watching a video somewhere about it

I've got a 1992 YJ grill that I'll sell you. Includes the headlights.

Of that's your thing.

Wife and I hated the square / rectangular headlights, and I put a TJ grill on our YJ a few years ago.
