Your Jeep's name

Ours is called "Dunder Jeep II". My wife always thought the AC/DC song "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" was "Dirty Deeds Dunder Jeep" so our old TJ was called Dunder Jeep, Dunder for short, when we got the JT it became Dunder II. I know kind of stupid but funny.

Until I owned the Gladiator, I had NEVER placed a decal on a painted surface of one of my vehicles (only team decals on my rear windows). But, with my Jeep, it just felt normal. Can't even pinpoint why. I used to look at jeeps that had all kinds of decals/names on them and say "That looks kind of cool, but I'd never do that..."

I don’t remember how I thought of it but Boris seems like a good name for a big, ugly, dirty bastard. If only I could have talked my wife into naming her JLU Natasha...

Some people here berate naming an inanimate object, namely the Jeep. Saying it’s.... this or that. As humans we have Been naming stuff for hundreds of years. Nimitz, Enterprise, Hood, Bismarck, Dallas, Washington, Panther, Tiger, Falcon, Viper, Eagle, Abrams, Kalashnikov, Colt, Peacemaker, Trident. As opposed to ship, tank, fighter, gun, missle model numbers etc. Example the F-16 named the Falcon is called a Viper by its drivers, The F-14 was known as a Turkey in stead of its official name TomCat (lots of rudder input on landing looks like a turkey coming in. Matter of Fact a corvette, actually a C6 or C7 etc was named after a fast excite fighting ship. I personally don’t give my vehicles a “pet” name but I am also not one to put down those who do, no matter how politely it was said, it didn’t need to be said!

You're right. And using your theory it has a name. Jeep Gladiator.
