YES! Thank you for posting this. How was the install on your PS hood louver? I have one sitting in the garage just waiting for my gladiator to come in so I can put it on. I have the same product on my JK and love it, although it was the hardest thing in the world to take a cutting wheel to my hood.

Any issues with the factory insulation during installation?

Any major hood supports you had to cut through that might have weakend the integrity?

It's rare to see people install these because of the effort involved, but they add a special kind of flare IMO.

Thanks! Took me awhile to figure out how I was going to do it, but I like these kind of projects.

Yes, cutting into my Jeep was a little unsettling. I originally did it because I was going to get the Edelbrock supercharger and thought it would be a good idea to help get the heat out. Then reality set in and I realized I could buy a lot of mods for the price of a SC. Last I looked it was around $8k plus taxes and shipping. Not worth it in my opinion.
Anyway, follow the instructions and use the template that’s provided. Everything went pretty smooth. Removing the hood wasn’t a problem (aluminum) and the cuts didn’t effect the structural integrity at all. Don’t over tighten the screws. It will warp the louvre panel and you will notice a wavy pattern around the edge. It’s fixable, but It’s a pain to go back, remove the insulation and adjust all the freak’n screws. Yes, I had to do it twice!
After cutting the four holes, don’t install the louvre panel. Reinstall your insulation and use the cut holes on the hood as the template to cut the insulation. Remove the insulation and continue with the install.
Good luck! Post a pic when you’re done.

What fender liners did you go with? Almost all I see say they don't work with factory fenders.

The winch line in blue is priceless. Well done 👍
Thanks! It’s been a fun build. I plan on putting it all to the test this summer.
