Needed something assist with loading heavy items into the bed of the truck. Modeled and fabricated this mount up to accomplish what I needed. Utilizes all factory holes. Works great for the 500lbs - 1000lbs items I’ll be pulling up into the bed with it.

I need to remodel the side bracket. Once I do that I’d be happy to share out the .step and .dfx file to have the parts cut for anyone that’s looking for something similar.

I been thinking mine would be floor mounted, reinforced, but cable would have to drog over bed or a roller log. I like yours much better. Thanks for sharing! Dam deer getting bigger as I get older!

Please show us more piccs and specs for side and front betd mounting points.

I utilized all of the factory threaded slots using grade 8 bolts. Don’t mind the ugliness of the side brackets. The bends came out a lil off so I had to cut weld them back together filling a 1/4” gap. Gonna rework my CAD model to correct the bend points.
I thought about installing some Riv nuts along the top of the bed to fasten to but also wanted to make it pretty much bolt in with out the need for drilling and modifying anything.
I had the pieces cut out of 3/16” but 1/4” would work and keep it flush or just below the sides.
I lean the sheet of wood against the tailgate, strap side down. slap what I need against the sheet and pull the whole thing up into the bed. Has worked out some far over the last few days with pulling weight of between 500lbs ++ up into the bed.
I 3D printed the atv switch mount and the wire guide for the 2g wire I ran to the back.

For right now how I’m using it works for what I need. I did think about coming up with something for when I need to get something off of the ground and over the edge of the tail gate. I’ll probably cross the bridge when I start to really see the need arise. For now leaving that sheet of marine plywood propped against it works well for me for now. The video is me using it to load a water slide that has a dry weight of 400lbs to 500lbs. Used to load them manually but decided to work smarter not harder 😅.

If that is something you move often, a good cart would work wonders and keep down the wear from dragging.
Maybe modify a set of ramps then it would all fit in the bed.

I dont drag it. I just flip it against the sheet of wood. The wood is the only thing really sliding. I have a custom built dolly for moving them around and a wagon for when needed. Family got stationed over seas so the cost to ship enclosed trailer here and then back for a short stint wasn’t worth the cost. Truck is easier to navigate here as well with how crowded it is. I was going to purchase an aluminum ramp to just pull the hole dolly into the truck. Dolly has a 32” wheel spacing. So ramp I needed was about 1k problem was that shipping to get it to me was 3k

This is pretty cool.. When I was in the service we used to use a PLS, (palletised loading system) that was kinda this way.

Anyway. This is a cool project. This would be really handy for a skidoo.
