Very cool. I wanted to take my WK2 there but the vehicle decided it wanted to stay in the shop more than it wanted to be on the road.

I've done that in my Power Wagon.

I've idled up a lot of climbs, barely touching the loud pedal in my JTRD.

Honestly, I would have been more fine with the dragging, but I was wheeling with my son in his Rivian. Similar sized vehicles. His is bone stock. He never rubbed a thing.. punk kids…

Thanks for sharing!

I did that trail leveled on 37's since most people said it was doable in a stock truck. With careful wheel placement, I only scraped the hitch in one spot and it was something I should have probably bypassed.

Amazing how much traction is available on the rock slabs!

Yeah. This is the 3rd time I’ve done the trail. First one was in a to, second was in a jkur. Definitely not used to the big butt.

Imagine the smooth willingness to not quit of the diesel with a 4:1... Add in a sprinkle of the throttle control of the Offroad+ button in the event you need just a touch of more go. It's quite enjoyable.

I'm looking at the apex sway bar disconnect. The higher transfer case is not bad. Having a lsd is good.

Had the 2.42 (I think) standard gearing in my XJ and TJ years ago. Much different with the 4:1. Now, if my brakes are wet…I have to be mindful to have my hand ready to slap it out of gear if I’m approaching something where I’ll need to stop. The added torq transfer of the lower gearing plus the torq of the diesel I’ve stood on the brake peddle when things are wet and she keeps creeping. Just something you have to be cognizant of if you have spotters, trees, rocks or other vehicles around after going through some deeper water.

I didn’t have quick disconnects on either of my previous Jeeps. Big fan of it if for only a much smoother ride. It’s just a plus that it now flexes as far as the control arms now allow.

I have the apex. Love them. I’ve had rubicons and I’ve had Jeeps where I had to pull pins. This falls really nicely in between. It’s spendy but worth it if you can toss the coin at it.

When I did it I was on my same lift but before 37s. The only thing I scraped was my hitch skid. Its amazing how much traction that slick rock has on it
