I made the switch from hardtop to soft top (purchased used soft top from forum member). My question is, I have sold the hardtop to a local person whose gladiator originally only had a soft top. Are there brackets, hardware, and such that I will no longer need since I am staying with the soft top that I can give to him? I did give him the (2) bolts that go over the soundbar area. Is there anything else? Thanks

He’ll need the parts the freedom panels latch to Over the sound bar and over the windshield frame, as well as the bolts for them. That plus all the hardtop bolts and the cap for the defroster connection should be everything.

@Northridge4x4 has a pretty good video on a hard top install. Pretty much anything they had to install for the hard top would need to go with the new owner you sold your hard top to.

I hope you got your questions answered. However, since you recently handled both tops, I was wondering which top is heavier? I would think the hardtop is, but Quadratec lists the soft top as 39 lbs heavier (124 vs 85). So far my dealer can't even answer the question.

I would say the hard top is heavier and more awkward
