Are front frame horns boxed or do I have access to this trim hole? ( after front bumper and mounts removal)?

Okay, I think I see what you want. Yes, you can remove the bumper mount, through bolted on each side.
Yes, you can reach the backside of that hole, if you have long skinny fingers or use a box wrench to hold the nut.
I thought you wanted to ditch the bumper mounts.

Mopar sells a light mounting set that attaches to the frame between the bumper and grill. It can be used to mount a set of lights, or attach a custom mounting bar.

I thought the front bumper mount worked like a hitch and receiver, tube on bumper mounts go inside frame snugly and they were through bolted to hold in place.
This makes for easier repair if there is front end damage.

Well, the answer is no, they won't come off in the way I thought. They do come off, there are repair/replacement parts for them, but I believe it involves welding and besides, the hole you want to access is on the replaceable section so you still wouldn't have access to the hole.

If you only want to use the hole from the plastic trim piece between bumper and grill , Nutzert is the answer, or fishing a string or wire through then pulling a bolt with lock washer on it out of the hole then hold it with screwdriver against threads and mount what you want. I would not cut off the frame ends as most all bumpers factory or aftermarket utilize the the bumper mounts…..Jack

Thank you all. I will find another way. My Metal Dealer piece of boxed alumni is cheaper and and allows me to custom build a lightbar. We'll se.......! Mostly just to do it as I am sure the stock plastic Sport front bumper won't be there forever. Hoping to enjoy a new large drill press.

I used the Mopar kit to attach a custom light bar that sits just above the stock plastic bumper. It's about $100 and includes some rivnuts to mount the pieces to the frame. It was several years ago, I'll see if I can find any pictures.
